Q3 walkthrough for the design team

How it works
Three clicks, one link.
No editor, no settings panel, no sign-up wall on the viewer side. ScreenCam is opinionated about the parts that don't matter so you can move fast on the parts that do.
Press record
Pick a tab, a window, or your whole screen. Camera bubble is optional. Mic stays on by default.
Talk through it
Walk the viewer through what they need to see. Pause if you mess up. Cancel and start over with one click.
Send the link
We hand you the URL the second you stop. Paste it where you would have typed three paragraphs.
Built for under a minute
Press record, talk through what you're showing, hit stop. We give you the URL. No render queue, no waiting screen.
Sharable, by default
Every recording becomes a link the moment you stop. Send it in Slack, paste it in email, or drop it in a doc. It works for everyone.
Private when it needs to be
Add a password, keep it private to you, or open to anyone with the link. Switch it later without breaking the URL.
Quiet analytics
See who watched, how long they stayed, and what they replayed. No tracking pixels, no third-party scripts on your viewer.
Who it's for
One tool, many handoffs.
Sales, support, design, engineering, teaching. If the answer is faster shown than written, ScreenCam is for you.
Sales and demos
Send a tailored walkthrough instead of booking another call.
Customer support
Show the fix in thirty seconds. Skip the screenshot thread.
Async standups
Replace the 9 a.m. video call with a link your team watches at 1.5x.
Design feedback
Mark up a Figma file out loud. No comment threads to untangle.
Engineering walkthroughs
Talk through a PR or a bug repro once, link it in the review.
Teaching and onboarding
Record the lesson once, send the link every time someone joins.
Questions
Questions, answered plainly.
Do viewers need an account?
No. Share links open straight to the player. Viewers do not sign in, install anything, or create an account.
What browsers can I record in?
Chrome, Edge, and Arc on desktop. Recording uses the browser screen capture APIs, so any Chromium-based browser works.
How long can a recording be?
Up to four hours per recording. Most useful clips land between thirty seconds and three minutes.
Who can see my recordings?
Link-only by default. You can add a password, restrict to specific viewers, or keep a recording private to your account. The URL stays the same when you change access.
Where are the videos hosted?
Mux handles transcoding and adaptive playback. Cloudflare R2 stores the source files. Both are first-class infrastructure providers, not a wrapper.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Sign up and start recording. We will publish paid pricing when the product moves out of early access.
