How we handle your data.

Plain and honest. Here is what runs ScreenCam and what protects your recordings.

Hosting

Mux for transcoding and adaptive streaming.
Cloudflare R2 for source video storage.
Supabase for accounts, database, and authentication.
Vercel for the web application.

In transit

Every connection uses TLS 1.2 or higher. Share links and the dashboard always force HTTPS. We do not serve mixed content.

At rest

Source files in Cloudflare R2 are encrypted at rest. Database storage at Supabase is encrypted at rest. Account passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We never store passwords in plain text.

Access control

Every recording is private to your account by default. You control who can watch a share link by adding a password or restricting access. Changing access settings does not break the URL.
